Your parents

My mom is always right. I don't normally see that until after the fact, but it's true. We fight when we are together in the same house, but the day I move out I miss her. We go from talking daily to weekly, depending on our moods and our schedules. She can come across strong, and takes some getting used to, but she's my mom, and I love her. Growing up she was my Girl Scout leader, and though I didn't appreciate it at the time, I am so glad that we had those years together. She'll be out to visit me in October and I can't wait!

My dad loves to talk. He's an engineer, and a typical one in every way. He loves explaining things, and he is the one I call when I need something to be explained, whether it is a broken camera or how to select a song on a record. We share a common fascination with license plates, and even though I can rarely get off the phone in less than 15 minutes with him, I do love our conversations. He's coming out to visit at the beginning of September!
